          The present series of work consists of 1 scientific report, 8 scientific articles in professional scientific journals (including 3 in international scientific journals), 19 abstracts of scientific conferences, published over 4 years.

          The main objective of the series of work was to develop theoretical provisions concerning legal regulation of public procurement in the context of integration processes in the EU and the WTO and to prepare the proposals on improvement of legislation.

          The present series of the work is dedicated to improvements of Ukraine’s legal regulation of government procurement in the context of integration process to the EU and the WTO. The in-depth analysis of legal regulation of government procurement was carried out in the papers. In addition, the proposals on improvement of legislation in this sphere were developed. The series of work reflects the legal forms of government procurement and puts forward the benefits of implementation of centralised purchasing activities and joint procurement. Special consideration is given to the peculiarities of legal regulation of government procurement in the WTO. Legal protection of economic interests of the state in the framework of the WTO Agreement on government procurement is studied. Peculiarities of the legal regulation of government procurement in the EU are suggested. The series of work gives an appraisal of compliance of Ukrainian legislation with the EU requirements on government procurement. In addition, some recommendations on adaptation of Ukrainian government procurement legislation to the EU and the WTO requirements are elaborated.

          The results of the series of work “Legal regulation of public procurement” are important to ensure national economic interests of Ukraine. In particular, important proposals on prevention of the potential negative consequences of integration processes in the EU and WTO in the field of public procurement were elaborated in some scientific works. The article justifies proposals to improve the efficiency of public procurement, which will allow to use public funds efficiently. The total value of government procurement is UAH 150 billion and approximately UAH 50 billion is annually lost due to inefficiency and corruption.

          The results of the series of work “Legal regulation of public procurement” can be used in the process of lawmaking with the aim at improving the legislation of Ukraine and ensuring the unity of judicial practice when resolving disputes on protection of the rights of domestic economic entities – suppliers of goods, works and services.
