Energy-efficient way of obtaining high-quality low-carbon steel wire with the use of severe plastic deformation

This paper resolved important scientific and technical problems associated with high-quality low-carbon steel wire using energy-efficient method of severe plastic deformation (SPD). Combining methods SPDand cold-drawn steel wire possible to obtain with high 20% strength characteristics and significant resource of plasticity, allowing to exclude intermediate annealing of technological level on stage drawing. Also developed principles and methodology for the analysis of structural properties using electron diffraction zvorotnorozsiyanyh jo (EBSD). Work carried out at a high international level, the work have been reported at international conferences, in particular in France, Germany and Russia. The economic effect of implementation on hardware and steel plant is 90 000 000. 1 million tons. finished product. The results implementedat Zaporizhzhya Experimental section LTD"Doniks".

Scientific results of the work reflected in the 1 monography, 30 abstract of conferences and 15's articles, among them the scientific journal Metals (Moscow, impact factor 0.68), Emerging Materials Research (London, impact factor 0.9) Deformation and fracture of materials (Moscow, impact factor 0.4) Advanced Engineering Materials (impact factor 1.67) and in the interest of research (Grant NAS of Ukraine for young scientists).
