Increase of the life time of weld joints of power equipment of modern thermal power station

This work is devoted to solving scientific and applied problem – to increase the lifetime and reliability of the elements of power units that have worked out their park resource, to improve energy efficiency. As a result of theoretical and experimental research, the concept of reducing the damage of welded joints of steam pipelines has been proposed, by obtaining the initial structure of welded joints with improved quality characteristics. A technological way of increasing the static strength of annular joints of steam lines with possible crack-like defects at the root of the weld is proposed. Recommendations on the technology of welding and optimization of tempering of combined welded joints of high-alloy steels (including new high-chromium martensitic steel for the energy complex of Ukraine) used in turbine equipment and steam lines have been developed and implemented.The work was done according to the plans of 9 research works in accordance with the tasks of the fiscal (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine) and contractual topics. The results of the research supplement the training courses at NTU «KhPI», NTUU «KPI», the Interdisciplinary Training and Certification Center of E.O. Paton EWI. The results of the study were evaluated and recommended for implementation at the leading energy enterprises of Ukraine.
