Aim:to develop a training model that allows integrating technical and law training, theoretical instruction and fulfillment of practical tasks of combating cybercrime.

Academic noveltyof the research is the character and the contents of the model developed by the authors. The training model ensures integrated technical and law training, re-training and extension courses for specialists in combating cybercrime and human trafficking. The training model allows carrying out expert assessment of computer equipment as well as taking measures in order to counteract crimes by means of Internet monitoring and informing the law enforcement agencies about illegal content, illegal financial and trade transactions completed via the Internet, about all types of illegal economic activities in this area.

The model has a practical bearing on:

-                     the process of education, namely the courses of “Criminal Law”, “Criminal Process”, “Criminology”, “Algorithmic Languages and Programming”, “Information and Communication Systems Security”, “Prevention and Investigation of Cybercrimes”, “Databases and Knowledge Management” (act of implementation dated 09.01.2014)

-                     work of bodies of internal affairs (the agreement on cooperation of the Department on Combating Cybercrime of the MIA of Ukraine, Department on Criminal Police for Minors  of the MIA of Ukraine and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs dated 20.11.2013; letter of  Department on Criminal Police for Minors  of the MIA of Ukraine dated 02.12.2013 № 58/3-2100“About Internet monitoring as to video and photo content that promotes violence and child abuse (cyber bullying in schools); agreement on Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and International women’s rights center “La Strada Ukraine” dated 04.03.2013 № 113, etc.)

Published works:thecore results of the research are highlighted in 21publications, 9 of them are published in scientific and law editions listed in Supreme Attestation Commission of Ukraine.
