Economic imperatives of development and commercialization of intellectual property in Ukraine

Thesis is dedicated to a complex solution of relevant scientific problem of development of theoretical and methodological foundations of research of the economic and legal nature, patterns, economic imperatives and contradictions of development of intellectual property in the global economic environment and justification of the priority directions of development of the national system of commercialization of intellectual property objects as a key precondition for substantial development and innovative modernization of Ukrainian economy.

Author studied historical conditions of origin and development of intellectual property and conducted structural analysis of intellectual property regarding definition of four main segments of its internal architectonics. The intellectual property market is investigated as the supreme form of development of economic turnover of intellectual product. Most effective pricing strategies on the intellectual property market are investigated.

Economic imperatives of development of intellectual property in the global economic environment are defined, key trends and major problems of development of intellectual property in Ukraine are investigated. Global trends of development of intellectual property market are characterized. Nature, objectives, forms, financial and economic mechanisms of intellectual property commercialization are analyzed. Conceptual framework of intellectual security in global economic environment is formulated including analysis of principles of implementation, objectives and functions of intellectual security under commercialization process.

The priorities of development of national system of commercialization of intellectual property as core precondition of innovative modernization of Ukrainian economy are defined.

Number of publications: 2 monographies, 2 textbooks, 15 journal articles, 15 conference proceedings. Total number of citations / h-index of the work, according to international databases: Scopus – 2/1, Google Scholar – 40/3.
