This work presents the results of the studies of the structure of new composite nanoparticles of transition metals and their compounds with carbon materials (graphene and graphene oxide, pure and doped carbon) and their electrocatalytic properties in hydrogen evolution processes, as well as catalytic properties in the processes of unsaturated organic compounds hydrogenation, aromatic aldehydes amination with amines in the presence of hydrogen, which lead to valuable products. The developed electrocatalysts are distinguished from known analogues by higher efficiency and can be used both for the production of "green" hydrogen and for the formation of cathode and anode materials of fuel cells. The obtained catalysts for hydrogenation of organic compounds can find use to replace analogues containing platinum metals. The world level of the obtained results is confirmed by the scientific rating of the journals in which they are published.

Number of publications: 15 scientific papers (13 are published in English language journals with impact factor), 25 abstracts presented at national and international conferences. The total number of citations/h-index of the study according to the databases is: Web of Science – 42/5, Scopus – 46/5, Google Scholar – 63/6. 5 Ukrainian patents are obtained.
