The aim of the work is to comprehensively address the issues of ensuring the environmental safety of Ukraine under martial law by overcoming environmental and economic threats through the greening of industry by introducing new approaches to air monitoring, eco-innovative development of agricultural production and promotion of ecological products in domestic and foreign markets, development of the investment climate in Ukraine and increasing its investment attractiveness, as well as identifying strategic directions and priorities.

The research results were used in the Action Plan for sustainable energy development of the Poltava city until 2020 in the section “Environmental situation in the city”, and in the regional program of environmental protection, rational use of natural resources and ensuring environmental safety, taking into account the regional priorities of the Poltava region for 2017-2021 (“Environment – 2021”), the main conclusions and proposals used by the Department of Economic Development of the Poltava Regional State Administration by the development of the Comprehensive Program for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Poltava Region for 2016-2017, by the Poltava Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund during the development of measures to support entrepreneurship in the region, by the Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Industry regarding the definition directions of coordination interaction between market and regulatory institutions regarding the reduction of risks and threats to the activity of small and medium-sized business entities.

The scientific results presented in the work were applied in the activities of the Department of Economic Development, Trade and Investment Attraction of the Poltava Regional State Administration, in particular, by the development of strategic plans for the development of the Poltava Region in terms of the development of agribusiness enterprises and in the activities of the Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Number of publications: 9 collective monographs, 13 publications included in foreign scientific publications, indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection and/or Scopus databases, 76 articles in scientific publications of Ukraine included in category “B”, 82 individual theses of reports. 4 PhD theses were defended by the topic of the work. The novelty and competitiveness of the scientific work is protected by 21 copyright certificates for the work, and a beta version of the website for informing about the state of air pollution has been developed.
