Cycle of works is presented by the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Summary. The cycle of works «Ukraine: the fundamental problems of the international cooperation»were published during the 2000–2013 with the support of the MFA of Ukraine. Research focused on the systemic issues of the formation and development of international activities in Ukraine in 22-years period since independence till this time. Were published 14 issues on the mentioned problems: the scientific yearbook «Diplomatic Ukraine», 8 books of the series «Library of the Science Year-book „Diplomatic Ukraine”»during the 2000–2013 period.
The cycle of works is the first complex research in the post-Soviet Ukraine era. The object of it is the international activity, and the subject is the role of the diplomacy in the achieving of the strategic goal of Ukraine in the international arena. The actuality is the research of social and economic transformation and the need of the studying the success of the radical reforms in post-socialist space. The borrowing of their effective for building the institutions, a democratic state and civil society in Ukraine is proved.
Scientific novelty and importanceof the research cycle is the classification of the basic principles that determinate the functioning of the international activities that included the general forms and methods for implementing tasks of the diplomatic service of Ukraine. The importance of the staffing Foreign Service of Ukraine issues is analyzed.
The result of the transformation of Central and Eastern Europe from four world only three geopolitical centers is revealed: the Atlantic, European and Pacific, which positions are considerably strengthened by the decline in visual confrontation and absorption components of the former socialist space after the final collapse. European integration provides complete independence of the Ukrainian state and its full development under the rule of law, market economy, the elimination of oligarchic power, laying the foundations of democracy and civil society were proved. For the first time the practical activities of local diplomatic missions, aimed at ensuring national interests and implementing urgent tasks Ukraine on the international stage, the formation of the relevant legislation reveals the deep historical perspective and methods of succession were analyzed.
Scientific papers presented in the series of works have no analogues in the world.

Авторами розглянуто системні питання становлення та розвитку міжнародної діяльності України упродовж 22-х років після здобуття нею незалежності.
Здійснено класифікацію основних принципів, які визначають функціонування міжнародної діяльності, охоплюють загальні форми і методи, якими керується дипломатична служба України при реалізації своїх завдань. Розглянуто кадрове забезпечення дипломатичної служби України.
Розкрито, що в результаті трансформації країн Це при Міністерстві закордонних справ Унтрально-Східної та Східної Європи з чотирьох світових геополітичних центрів залишилося три: атлантичний, європейський та тихоокеанський, позиції яких помітно зміцнилися за рахунок спаду гостроти протистояння та поглинання колишніх складових соціалістичного простору після його остаточного розпаду.
Доведено, що європейська інтеграція забезпечує цілковиту незалежність Української держави, її повноцінний розвиток в умовах верховенства права, ринкової економіки, ліквідації олігархічної влади, формування основ демократії і громадянського суспільства. Вперше практична діяльність вітчизняних дипломатичних установ, яка спрямована на забезпечення національних інтересів та реалізацію актуальних завдань України на міжнародній арені, процеси формування відповідного законодавства, розкриваються на глибокій історичній ретроспективі та методах правонаступництва.
