The purpose of the work is to develop the scientific foundations for the creation of new effective compounds of macro- and microelements and polyfunctional nanomaterials, their application in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine.

The quantitative and qualitative parameters of mineral compounds and nanomaterials for use in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine on the basis of theoretical and experimental research was determined by the authors. It was substantiated for the first time, experimentally tested and introduced into the production of the receipt and use of polyfunctional nanomaterials.

Scientific bases of synthesis and safe use of new effective compounds of mineral elements and nanomaterials in animal nutrition, treatment, and prevention of their diseases, metabolic disorders, the normative and methodological basis of their application in scientific research and production are created.

Basic conceptual foundations for the development and use of new feed additives, premixes, agents and preparations, as well as compounds of biotic elements and nanomaterials for animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, the methodology for studying their biological effects and studying the feeding processes of animals during their use are formed.

The effective mineral compounds, premixes, therapeutic and prophylactic preparations and means, methods and ways of their use for the activation of metabolic processes, increase of resistance of an organism and productivity of animals, normative and methodical base of application of these developments in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine was proposed.

Scientific products for the production of BAA, fodder and veterinary preparations and preparations, premixes on the basis of compounds of mineral elements and nanotechnology, the copyrights of which are protected by patents, author's certificates, TCU, etc. was realized.

Comparison with world counterparts ― most developments correspond to world analogs, and nanotechnological methods for obtaining polyfunctional nanomaterials do not have world analogues.

The economic effect of the implementation is approximately UAH 24.5 million, including the sale of the obtained products – UAH 22.3 million, reduction of morbidity and death of animals and birds – UAH 2.2 million.
