Series of scientific works includes 26 scientific articles and 24 abstracts of conferences, published during the period 2007-2013.

This series of papers is devoted to solving one of the most important problem in materials chemistry and physics - creating multifunctional materials for lasers, light emitting diodes, phosphors with white emission and multicolored fluorescent converters of solar energy, plasma displays, scintillation detectors, sensing the temperature distribution on the surface of nano-and micro -meter spatial resolution ability. The relevance of the results is confirmed, including numerous references on the works of applicants. Thus, the article devoted to K2Bi(PO4)(MoO4) structure according to the database Scopus, was cited 17 times, 12 of them within 3 last years.

In a light of application, a series of scientific papers contains a number of significant results. It was shown that molybdate - containing nanocomposites doped with chromium are promising materials for the development of fluorescent thermometers to measure the temperature field distribution on surface with high (micro-and nano-meter) spatial resolution. The compound K2Bi(PO4)(MoO4) doped with two types of activator Tb3+/ Eu3+ is a base for development of a multicolor phosphor with the emitting wave number determined by the concentration of activators.

To cover the practical issues a range of fundamental problems were solved. Numerous diagrams of complex systems MI2MVIO4MVIO3MIPO3МхOу, (MI =Li, Na, K; М =Bi, Fe, Sc, Y, rare earth metals, Zr; MVI– Mo, W)were constructed. Having performed crystallochemical analysis of about 30 new compounds, a set of promising hosts for doping were selected. As a result of theoretical calculations a number of characteristics of the electronic energy band structure (the bandgap value, the partial density of electronic states) were obtained. Luminescence properties of zirconium and bismuth phosphates, molybdates and tungstates were experimentally established, both undoped and activated by ions of rare earth elements and transition metals. The relationships "crystal structure - electronic band structure - fluorescent properties" were established as key ones for the development of advanced multifunctional materials with controllable optical properties.

The results of research on the topic of work set out in 26 articles (including 16 in foreign  top journals), 24 abstracts of scientific conferences. The works of authors cited in more than 30 scientific journals, the general index of citing is 43 (according to the databases Scopus), h-index is 4 and 1 for Terebilenko K. and Chornii V. correspondingly. The total number of authors’ publications - 39 articles in scientific journals and over 40 conference abstracts.
