submitted for the award of the President of Ukraine for young scientists

The goalof this workis to develop and improve the methods of obtainingand  cultivation of stem cellof animal origin, study their  biological properties (colony-formingability, the ability to directed differentiation, immunophenotypic profile)and prospects of use in biology and veterinary medicine, particularly for treatment of animals with damaged articular cartilage, skinand kidney.

The noveltyof the work is confirmed by 8patents for utility model, and its scientific significance lies in the fact that a group of authors foundedthe optimal conditions for obtaining mesenchymal stem cells from bone marrow of animals (rabbits, cats, dogs),selected composition of the culture medium for their cultivation, leading to high proliferative activity, defined immunophenotypic profileofmesenchymal stem cells(dogs, rats), explored the effect of mesenchymal stem cells on reparative chondrogenesis in articular cartilage of animals(rabbits), as well as in the skinand kidneys (rats), studied the indicators of immune status of the recipient animals(rats) afterinjection ofmesenchymal stem cells.

The results of research on this work can be implemented in academic institutions studying the properties of stem cells as well as in clinical veterinary practice fortreatment of animals with cartilage and skin damagewith that can not be treated by traditional methods.

The results of this work are stated in 1 monograph, 15 scientific papers (including 1 paper in foreign journal), 6 materials of scientific conferences,                8 patents for utility model, 2 methodical recommendations.
