Theaimofthepaperistoestablishtheoreticalbackgroundandprovidepracticalrecommendationsonforensic support of crime investigation.

Onthebasisoftheoreticalresearchandpracticalexperimentsauthorhasdefined: thecontentofforensicsupportofcrimeinvestigationinaccordancewithtechnical, tactical andmethodologicalforensiccomponents; thecontentofcrimeinvestigation (investigativeactions) inaccordancewithcriminal, procedural, ethical, psychologicalandtacticalcomponents; legalregulationofcrimeinvestigation (nationalandinternationallegislation); mechanism of cooperation between Ukrainian pre-trial investigation agencies and foreign law enforcement and international organizations aimed at presenting solutions for international cooperation challenges arising in the crime investigation process; general framework of the methodology of crimeinvestigation in modern conditions and, either directly, methods of international crimeinvestigation.

Comparisonwiththeworldanalogueslies in improvement ofUkrainianlegislativeactsregulatingforensicsupportofcrimeinvestigationwithbestforeignpractices.

Resultsareintroducedinresearch, legislative, practical activity and training programs. 

Еconomiceffectofintroductioninpracticallawenforcementactivity– improved activity management, reasonable and effective use of available resources (technical, human).

Amountofpublications – 220, relating to the paper`s theme – 160, including: 2 monographs, 2 manuals, 4 textbooks,  1 courseoflectures, 55 scientificarticles,publishedinspecializedperiodicals, 10 scientificarticles,publishedininternationalspecializedperiodicals, including 1publicationin WebofScience edition, 55theses,addresses to the conferences etc.  Accordingto«GoogleScholar» thetotalamountofpublicationsreferredtoYuliiaChornouscomprises225units, h-іndex = 6, 10-іndex = 4. Noveltyisverifiedby3 certificatesofauthorship. 9 theses for the candidate`s degree were defended relating to the paper`s theme.
