nominated for the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology in 2014.

The cycle consists of 9 books and 109 scientific papers published during the period 1969-2012 was mainly in international refereed journals contained in the database SCOPUS ( 241 ) - with 306 citations . On the subject is protected by 5 and 2 doctoral theses.

The work "Physics and dynamics of an ensemble of small bodies of the Solar System : Observations , discoveries and new models ", which was implemented from 1969 to 2012 , is devoted to the study of an ensemble of small bodies in the solar system ( comets , asteroids and meteor matter) as carriers of relict material from which 4.6 billions of years ago is formed the Sun and his satellites - planets, their moons , small bodies ( comets , asteroids and meteoroids ), the study of morphology, activity and chemical composition of comets and connection of cometary and meteor matter. In the frame of the cycle works on the base of our own original observations were received several new scientific results : discoveries of many new objects of ensemble of small bodies in the solar system: minor planets 639 and 4040 meteor showers and associations, 4 new comet  67P / Churyumov - Gerasimenko ) 74R/Smyrnova-Chernykh , 101R/Chernykh and a long-period - S/1986 N1 ( Churyumov - Solodovnikov ). Were investigated their physical and kinematic characteristics, constructed new original model of  peculiar phenomena and processes in objects of an ensemble. By comet 67P,  discovered in  1969 by Kiev astronomers K.I.Churyumov and S.I.Gerasymenko is approaching spacecraft (SC ) of the European Space Agency " Rosetta " ( Project costs 1.36 billions euros ) with the aim the landing on the comet nucleus in November 2014 and to research , the primary substance from which 4.5 billion years ago formed the Sun and planets , including the planet Earth. This relict of cometary matter was also a source of complex organic matter , including amino acids, which have led to the emergence of life on our planet. Knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of relict matter will solve fundamental scientific problems of cosmogony of the solar system and the origin of life on Earth , which is the actual scientific problem . Furthermore Rosetta spacecraft on a 10- year journey to the comet's nucleus 67P when it flew through the main belt minor planet in 2008 approached and explored the asteroid Steins , discovered by M.S.Chernykh ( one of the co-authors of the cycle of papers.
